My institution is not listed in the laptop provision project.   Top
All Autonomous Colleges with 4 year BS Degree program, Post Graduate Colleges with 2 year Master Degree Program, Home Economics Colleges, Medical Colleges, Engineering Universities, Medical University, Livestock University, Agriculture Universities and other Universities in the “Public Sector” qualify for inclusion into the laptop scheme. The list of 120 institutions is available here . If you still feel your institution ought to have been included in the list of eligible institutions, please contact the head of your institution, with the request to approach Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab.    
     
I am an eligible candidate and my name is not listed in the list of selected eligible students.   Top
According to the eligibility criteria, minimum qualification is 60 % marks in the last exam in case of annual examination system and 70 % marks in the last exam in case of semester system, for the courses being administered in 120 institutions. If you still feel your name has been inadvertently left out, please contact your respective Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board, who shall communicate the same to HED, after due verification.    
     
My last exam’s marks are more than 70% in semester system/ 60% in annual system but my overall degree’s marks are less than the prescribed criteria and I am not listed.   Top

Your CNIC/B Form no is either not available or has not been provided by your institution. Please immediately contact respective Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board, who shall communicate the same to HED, after due verification.    
     
My name is not listed in the correct department of the institution.    
Departments are only applicable in case of universities. Please contact the Registrar of the University, to rectify the problem and intimate HED, after due verification.    
     
I have confirmed from my head of institution that my name was provided in the list but it is not listed on the website.   Top

I have recently passed my degree, am I eligible for laptop?    
Please contact Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board, who shall communicate the same to HED, after due verification.    
     
My university follows a different GPA criteria than the one recommended by HEC. Is it the reason I am not listed?   Top
Evaluation shall be done on the HEC standards. You are requested to consult the Principal of the College/Registrar of the University and ensure that they intimate the GPA to HED, as per criteria prescribed by HEC/HED, for consistency in evaluation of candidates.    
     
I am not a regular student but eligible based on the given criteria given. Nonetheless, my name is not listed.   Top
You should contact Principal of the College/Registrar of the University and verify as to whether your name has been forwarded to HED.    
     
I am a student of private institution, am I eligible for the laptop?   Top

Is there any forum for grievance redressal other than Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board?   Top
Please contact Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board. You can also register your grievance with the Independent Grievance Redressal Committees (IGRCs) at Divisional Commissioner's level, which have been constituted by the Chief Minister Punjab, to hear and dispose off appeals submitted by various students regarding e-Youth Laptops Scheme.    
     
What is the Laptop distribution plan and what shall be the methodology for distribution of laptops?   Top
Distribution process shall commence with effect from February and is expected to end in April. A three member committee to be headed by Principal of the College/Registrar of the University/Secretary of the Board shall be responsible for distribution of laptops. A public representative shall personally grace the distribution ceremony.    
     
I have 70% marks in the last semester but I dropped one subject. Am I eligible?   Top
Students with 70% marks in the last semester, who failed in some course/subject or had a supplementary in the last semester, are NOT ELIGIBLE.    
     
I have 60% marks in the last annual exam but I dropped one subject. Am I eligible?   Top
Students with 60% marks in the last exam, who failed in some course/subject or had a supplementary in the last annual exam, are NOT ELIGIBLE.
